Hammer Lighting & Grip's LitePOWER 60kw is capable of delivering a continuous 500 amps in single or three phase. It is 25% smaller and 2000 lbs lighter than the nearest competition’s generator. It’s sound attenuated enclosure is rated at less than 50 db(A) at 50 feet!
At Hammer Motion Pictures we load bank test our generators after every job. The generator is tested at a full load for at least 30 minutes. This ensures that the fuel system and the cooling system are working properly and that all other systems in the generator are at peak performance. This means that when our generator comes to your set, we’ve done everything to make sure that it runs all day, every day. In the unlikely event of a breakdown in the field, the generator comes equipped with a complete set of extra electronics and sensors including the main computer and frequency controller! All can be replaced in about 10 minutes with simple tools! A level of detail and redundancy you won’t find with our competitors.
Our LitePOWER 60kw generator comes complete with a ¾ ton flatbed tow truck equipped with a 70 gallon auxilliary fuel tank. This extra fuel tank allows the truck to be sent for fuel, eliminating the need to tow the generator away on multiple day jobs. The flatbed can be used for hauling extra distribution cable or as a camera platform. The truck also carries a complete set of tools.
